5 Things You Can Do To Make the Universe Fall in Love with You

Did you know that everything you need while in this world already exists? Do you also know that ever since you were born the universe has been itching to give you anything you want?

When God created heaven and earth, what I refer to here as the universe, He put in it everything that you will ever need to live a successful, prosperous and fruitful life.

And everything He created was inexhaustible; no matter how much we receive from the universe; there will never be a time that we will deplete its abundance. This is because the universe is self-replenishing; and the more we get from it, the more it replenishes itself. That’s the kind universe that God created.

The earth, where you and I currently live, was created to be a paradise; where mankind and all of God’s creation were meant to live in peace, joy, plenty and in perfect balance.

But for the universe to maintain its balance and abundance, mankind was given the responsibility of taking care of it (Genesis 1: 28).

The one rule the universe understands

By default, the universe understands one rule: giving. The universe is a giver; not a taker.

Most successful people in the world understand this rule; some have even perfected it. The most famous people in the world were/are also the most renowned givers.

Take for instance, The Giving Pledge, a campaign that encourages the world’s richest people to give towards charitable causes. As of 2017, the campaign has 158 givers, all of them billionaires, and who have collectively pledged a total of $365 billion. Although some of them have passed on, they are still giving long after they have gone. These are the kind of people the universe is madly in love with.

But it’s not just the super rich who make the universe swoon with love. Take Mother Teresa for instance. She died at the very ripe age of 87 years in 1997 after living her entire life serving the poorest and the neediest in the society. In one of her many quotes she says: If you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed just one.

People like Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Mother Teresa, among many others, understand the power of giving. And the more they give, the more the universe rewards them.

The rise of the taker generation

Most people today, especially those who live average and below average lives, have a taker mentality. They have a sense of entitlement about them; believing that the universe and everyone in it owes them. They believe in getting all they can, and keeping all they get.

Unfortunately, the universe reacts to them in quite the opposite direction – withholding its abundance from them.

I have come to the conclusion that the universe is your friend; and it yearns to unfurl its abundance to you.

If you want the universe to fall in love with you, there are a number of things that you need to do to attract its abundance.

We all operate under the law of attraction. By our words, thoughts and actions, we attract good or evil; abundance or lack, blessings or curses, peace or strife, etc.

For the universe to be attracted to you and unleash its abundance, there a number of things you can do or be to become like a magnet to the universe.

  1. Give Love and Kindness

All of life is love. It is the foundation upon which the world revolves. It’s the one thing that the universe responds to without exception. And the beauty of love is that it costs us nothing; and so does kindness.

Random or deliberate acts of kindness become the expression of the love we feel for others. As Mother Teresa would say, intense love does not measure, it just gives.

There is nothing the world needs more than love. No one knew this better than Mother Teresa when she said: The hunger for love is much more difficult to remove than the hunger for bread.

The greatest philanthropists are first moved by love; their acts of kindness follow quickly after. And the universe swiftly moves to bless them with even greater abundance.

  1. Show Appreciation

That which is not appreciated depreciates. We appreciate that which we see value in. The ability to say thank you or to show appreciation determines whether we receive value back; or whether we forfeit it.

The universe loves people who appreciate what it gives. And this appreciation is demonstrated by how well we take care of the gifts we get. For instance, how well do take care of the environment? Do we judiciously use the gifts we get from the universe, or do we misuse them?

Our motive towards getting more and more must be grounded on a reality that seeks to impact not only ourselves, but others as well.  And by others I am referring to today’s generation, and many other generations that will come after we are gone.

The universe will not place resources in the hands of a person who will misuse them. You must appreciate those resources and use them for the benefit of all.

  1. Be a Good Steward

Beyond appreciation, the universe demands that we be accountable with what we get in life. The more we receive the more accountable and responsible we are expected to be.

We must be good stewards of what we receive because, in essence, we only use it for a time before bequeathing it to future generations.

Our success in life is really not our success. We need to understand that our purpose in life is bigger than us, and that we should seek to benefit others besides ourselves.

  1. Be Orderly

The universe detests chaos and things that are out of balance. In creating the universe, God was systematic and orderly in the way He went about it.

Whether it’s your job or business, you need to be orderly in the way you carry out your business. You cannot thrive in the midst of chaos and disorder.

Take time to order your life, and as you do you will start seeing everything fall into place in your life.

  1. Be Fruitful

When God created Adam and Eve, He charged them to be fruitful and to multiply.

At the heart of every success in life are hours, days, months and even years of hard work and diligence.

For the universe to keep on replenishing itself, we need to be productive and seek to multiply the gifts we get from life. What we receive, after it’s processed through our lifetime, should be more than what we received when it comes to passing it on to the next beneficiary.

When respond in love and kindness; when we show appreciation to others and for what we have; when we are orderly, good stewards and fruitful, the universe will have no option than to give us whatever it contains that God created for us.
